iRetire is the first product on the market that allows organizations to remove inactive sensitive data.

Until now, customers have rightly focused on mitigating risk for current sensitive data in both production and non-production environments. However, there is equal risk in outdated, inactive data.

For the first time, organizations now have the ability remove inactive sensitive data from both production and non-production environments. iRetire puts you in control of how inactive sensitive data is managed.

Example: Many organizations have tens of thousands of inactive employee records. These records have the same degree of risk as active employee data, even though there is often no valid business reason for maintaining the data.

iRetire resides on the unified MENTIS Platform. With the powerful discovery tool inherent in the MENTIS Platform, you are able to easily locate all inactive sensitive data. Particularly with inactive data extending over 10 or more years, manually tracking the location of all inactive sensitive data is ineffective. Automating the discovery process essential.

Once all inactive sensitive data locations are known, IRetire enables a very simple process to tokenize inactive sensitive data from production databases. Customers also have the option to retire inactive sensitive data to a single location.

Once tokenized, additional rules are set in place to either preserve the tokenized data (for record retention purposes) or remove when the data is truly unusable.
